Fairhaven Christian Academy

Psalms 33:3
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.

Mission Statement

Fairhaven Christian Academy’s purpose is to help facilitate, support and encourage Christian families who are trying to carry out their God given responsibility of training their children by choosing to educate their children at home.

Brief History of FCA

Welcome to Fairhaven Christian Academy; were we are strengthening the future through Christian education.  FCA began in 1995 with a group of close friends desiring to homeschool their children in God-friendly learning environments and to support and encourage each other along the way.  As Fairhaven continued to grow in numbers and services, the mission remained the same.  Fairhaven today assists approximately seventy families in their endeavors to homeschool their children via a variety of services.

One of the most important aspects of Fairhaven is that its foundation is a co-op.  The school has services, special events and classes because the moms and dads of the school volunteer their time and abilities. Without all of our families helping, Fairhaven would not exist.

Educational Philosophy

We believe we are helping to strengthen the future through home schooling our children. God placed the authority and responsibility for the training and educating of children in the hands of the parents. The home is the basic center of learning. True wisdom comes from God through His word.  With taking back the education of our children, we are making sure they are receiving the firm foundation on which to stand in the future. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9, Proverbs 22:6, Psalm 111:10, Psalm 1:1-2, Luke 6:40, Colossians 2:8, 2 Timothy 2:14-26)
